Eligibility requirements
Everyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school East Harris County, Texas, is eligible to join.
This includes the cities of La Porte, Baytown, Seabrook, Pasadena, Deer Park, Clear Lake, South Houston, Friendswood, Webster and Pearland, as well as cities who share those same zip codes.
You're also able to open an account if you are an immediate family member (meaning a spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or grandchild) of a current Beacon member.
Here's the ID you need to provide
In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, we must be able to definitively identify you. Applicants for new accounts are requested to provide a current picture identification that includes your legal name. We also need your current street address, date of birth and Social Security number or Tax ID number.
This procedure is necessary to help in the fight against criminal activities such as money laundering and against funding of terrorism. Beacon proudly supports all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our members and of our country.
Remember, once you become a Beacon member, you're always a member. Even if you change jobs, retire or move out of the area, you retain your Beacon membership and all its benefits.
